Dream Circus Project is an original immersive piece exploring “Circus,” in both its literal and metaphorical meaning. We will be investigating the history of circus as well as larger themes such as power, display, spectacle, and the relationship between audience and performer. We are looking for Storytellers!! That means makers, listeners, talkers, movers, actors, writers, activists, YOU! Immersive theater works best with ensemble made up of people with a variety of artistic/non-artistic interests and backgrounds. Do you have thoughts about any of these things? Did you go to a circus once and wonder if it was magic? Do you have no idea what you’re getting into at all? Come audition!

NO PREPARATION NECESSARY! This workshop-style audition will not require any recitations or sides, only your imagination and your body. It will include movement, so please wear clothes you feel comfortable in! Because this is an ensemble based show, our auditions will also be a collaborative process. This means that when you sign up for a time slot, please know that you will need to stay for the whole hour. That being said, if you have a time conflict, send us a text or email and we will absolutely work something out!
